Walther <br />Executive DireROr <br />Ronald W. Cottony <br />Acting Division Director <br />Energy Fuels Coal, Inc. has applied for a bond release at the Southfield Mine. The bond release <br />application was found complete by this Division on October 31, 2002. The Southfield Mine is <br />requesting a bond reduction of $14,072 and a Partial Phase I bond release of $519,940. The bond <br />reduction is based on the most recent reclamation cost estimate prepazed in February 2002 in <br />conjunction with the 2002 midterm review. The partial phase I bond release is for the facilities azea, <br />refuse pile, Newlin Creek Topsoil Pile and South Fan Area. The surface ownership is Private, and the <br />coal mined was Private. <br />We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as soon <br />as it has been scheduled.
