<br />Dear Mr. Schneider:
<br />The Division of Minerals and Geoloey hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph
<br />4, oFthe Colorado Revised Statutes, that on August 21, 1995, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Foidel Creek
<br />Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Twentymile Coal Company. All
<br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing.
<br />The revision is for transferrine the "Trudy's Corner" Storage Area from the Eckman Park permit (C-81-071) into the Foidel
<br />Creek permit, transferring surplus topsoil from the Energy Mine No. 3 permit into [he Foidel Creek permit, modifying the
<br />processing waste pile construction methodology, extending culverts, installing corrals, and revising Maps 24 and 29.
<br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 23 miles southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
<br />The permit area is further described as Follows:
<br />[n portions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4W, R86W; Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W ;Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 and 36 in 13 n,
<br />R87 W; and all of TSN, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, and 36.
<br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5-minwe Quadrangle map of Rattlesnake Butte
<br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Rout[ County Courthouse, Box 773598,
<br />Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written comments, contact
