~ a. a
' • •
Mr. York-Fiern
November 30, 1992
Page 2
Our records reflect that this mining permit was p:Laced
under temporary cessation on October 23, 1989. Kindly be
advised that notice is herein given to the MLRD that Pete
Lien & Sons, Inc., herein intends to remove the Roberta
Quarry M-77-301 from temporary cessation. We intend to
recommence mining on or about the 14th day of December, 1992,
weather permitting. We intend to begin mining on the
permitted acreage in Sections 26 and 35.
I am enclosing a copy of a letter I am mailing to the
Colorado Division of Wildlife. That letter is self
explanatory.
Prior to recommencement of mining we will insure 'that
the surety bond in the amount of $43,000 is in place. If
not, we will acquire a bond or letter of credit for this mine
permit.
Kindly advise as soon as possible if the MLRD has any
opposition to the recommencement of mining. Please also note
that we may, in the future request a technical revision for a
different ingress and egress.
Very truly yours,
PETE LIEN & SONS, INC.
Craig D. Grotenhouse
General Counsel
CDG/kad
cc: Sam Lien Fuchs
