Sites C and E, Mine and Waste Areas. Five areas were sampled in the
Site C and E area. Several studies have shown more accurate and repeatable
results from testing a series of small plots rather than one large plot,for
large study areas. Sample areas were selected due to their typical
vegetation stands and SW aspect, important for reclamation. Approximately
1/3 of the area has little to no vegetation, and steep slopes prohibited
sampling there. ... _. _
.. y... f-~.. s.
.a :.• r'-
_ .._~,. ~ ~ _-.tl, r
+"~+ .r.~`iyi~` ~ ~~
- t~~~. . w ~f - ~ ~rf.;-
. y. ~ •nti~
r.:
p,.c:
._¢ .~ _
r ~~;
Typical vegetation on E and W facing slopes
within Site C.
