-., <br /> <br />Site I, Stockpile and Processing Area, is dominated by Sagebrush, <br />Artemisia tridentata, in a shrub, grassland environment. Occasional <br />Junipers, Juniperus osteosperma, dot the landscape along with clusters of <br />Greasewood, Sarcobatus vermiculatus and Winterfat~ Eurotia Janata, Shrubs <br />are interspersed with Indian Ricegrass, Orvzoosis hvmenoides. <br />Shrubs dominate the Site I landscape. Within the representative <br />sample area, shrubs account for 88~ of the vegetative cover, grass 9~, <br />and trees 38. <br />Forty four percent of the sample area is bare ground with another 14~ <br />litter, for a total of 588 non vegetative cover. Artemisia tridentata is <br />25~ of the total cover, with an average height of 25"; Sarcobatus <br />vermiculatus 9~, average height 48" tall; Orvzopsis hvmenoides 4~, average <br />7" tall; Eurotia Janata 38, average 15" tall; and Junigerus osteosperma 18 <br />and 60" tall. <br />-2- <br />Sagebrush/Grassland Vegetation <br />
