Underflow Lines -Technical Adequacy Responses
Dear Mr. Walker:
In response to yow 05/31/07 Technical Adequacy comment letter outlining minor text and map edits necessary
to meet Technical Adequacy requirements; the following respond to yow comments:
Item 1 -Rule 2.05.4(2)(b). A reclamation estimate of $9,700 was submitted with the application. The estimate
submitted is acceptable to the Division. The estimate for reclamation prepared by the Division was $5,007. By
telephone call of May 31, 2007, the Division estimate will become part of the application.
Response: TCC accepts the CDRMS's bond calculation numbers.
Item 2 - A presentation on small area exemprions (SAE) begins on page 2.05-79.1 (09/07/05. MROS-197). The
18-Right Ventilation Shaft (I'R04-44) site is discussed on page 2.05-84 (07/2/05, MROS-194). The 18-Right
Ventilation Shaf (T'R04-44) section is duplicated in the TR07-60 application on revised page 2.05-84.2 of
05/22/07. Note also that the new insertion is under the (5) Topsoil section of unchanged page 2.05-84.1
(07/2/05, MROS-194). Please repaginate the section to eliminate duplication, keep the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft
in the SAE section, and place the underflow line project in the SAE section.
Response: The referenced text pages have been reviewed, revised, and repaginated to provide for text
continuity and address duplication. Copies of the revised pages accompany these responses.
Item 3 -Please change so much of the 18-Right Ventilation Shaft (1'R04-44) section that reads "(Exhibit 5, April
2004) " to read "(Exhibit 5, Apri12005 to Exhibit 8T) ".

accompany these responses.
Item 4 -Please refine the description of work on revised page 2.05-84.2 to include segregation and replacement
of topsoil during the underjlow pipeline trench excavation and backfill, and the salvage of topsoil from the
borehole pad area (Rule 4.06).
