Peabody Coal Company, with business address at 1300
South Yale, Flagstaff, Arizona 86001, has filed
with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division
an application for Technical Revision No. 23 to the
Seneca II Mine Permit C-80-005. The revision
includes updating the mine plan and reclamation
plan to reflect the current conditions and a
proposed ramp culvert location.

The USGS 7.5 Minute Quadrangle Maps, Milner and
Mount Harris contain the described area of the
mining operation. The Seneca II Mine is located
approximately nine miles southeast of the town of
Hayden, Colorado. The approved postmining land use
is the same as the premining land use, that is,
range grazing and wildlife habitat.
