The permit would be for the "Mineral County Gravel Pit" located in
a couple of sections ol~ Townships 40 and 41 North, Rang 1 West of the New Mexico Principal
Meridian.
I know Mineral County needs this source of gravel and find absolutely no fault with the
proposed location of the gravel pit. The sight is located out of view of [he traveling public, not
located in a flood plain. I am awaze that the site has been used in [he past as a gravel pit and
it is most appropriate that it continue to be operated as a gravel pit.
If I were to have to place my trust in an entity or company to provide expert maintenance,
operation and most importantly reclamation, it would be Mineral County.
I trust you will favorably review the 110 penult for Mineral County.
