The bond release <br />application was found complete by this Division on September 8, 1998. The release request is for <br />Phase III bond release of the Canadian Strip Mine in Jackson County, twelve miles east of Walden. <br />Slurco Corporation is requesting the remaining $100,606.00 of bond be released. The surface <br />ownership is federal and private, and the coal mined was federal and private. <br />We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as <br />soon as it has been scheduled.
