The purpose of the letter was to memorialize the fact the permit applicant, Westem Mobile Boulder, Inc., would compensate the City of Longmont for any damage to any Ciry utility or structure that might be located within 200 feet of the affected land and that might occur as a result of Western Mobile Boulder's mining and reclamation under the amended Mined Land Reclamation Permit Amendment No. M-74- Ol~. The February 28 letter referred to "Westem Mobile, Inc.," and not "Westem Mobile Boulder, [nc." The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has therefore requested that the February 28 letter be updated and clarified. This then is to clarify your understanding that Western Mobile Boulder, Inc., the mined land pemut amendment applicant, will provide the referenced compensation for structures in the event of damage to such structures from mining or reclamation. If this is agreeable, please execute and notarize this letter and return it to me Tltank you.
