All the reasons given by the citizens in Manitou and Ute
Pass who oppose this are valid.
We must insist on reclamation for all the quarries that are
currently scarring our Front Range and Ute Pass area. No further
acreage should be permitted at any of these quarries, particularly
Castle Concrete Quarry by Gen. Palmer's castle in Glen Eyrie. It
continues to break windows and shake buildings on their founda-
tions since you gave them additional acreage nearer the castle.
This was a serious mistake that must not be repeated.
Your help will be appreciated by many citizens in this city.
Respectfully,
0.i mil/ U-GO'f~
Mrs. Rhoda D.
