Information from <br />Exhibit S-3, soils survey, 1986 original application and amended 1987, <br />and Exhibit S-5, same years, and Exhibit S-4, same years. This is all <br />that is available or that has been done in the area. Exhibit S-3 (1987) <br />soil compiled by J.P. Pannell, soil survey party leader, dated 10/22/85, <br />copied in whole here. [Soils-the natural soil in undisturbed areas are <br />classified as loamy-skeletal, mixed Cyric Palebarolls. These soils have <br />very stony loam surface horizons. They are also very stony in the <br />subsoil and substratum. They are deep in most places, but a few small <br />areas have bedrock within forty (40) inches of the surface. The Ph of <br />the A horizon (surface) is 6.2, and conductivity is O.OSmmh05/cm. The <br />Ph of the Bt horizon (subsoil) is 6.6, and conductivity is O.lOmmh05/cm. <br />There is adequate topsoil for reclamation purposes in places that have <br />not been previously mined or covered with waste. Where ever possible, <br />the topsoil should be stock piled to be used in covering the finished site. <br />A final cover of eight (8) to twelve (12) inches of top soil should be <br />adequate.] <br />Exhibit S-4(1987) (Range site subalpine loam, location, Incas Mine. <br />List of plants,-Thurbers Fescue, Nodding Brome, Bearded Wheatgrass, <br />Beardless Wheatgrass, Letterman, Needlegrass, Sedgr.
