Post-Reclamation Site Drainase
The site will drain in a similaz manner as in the pre-mining scenazio. The major difference is the storm
water channels and the filled drainages. Water will flow along the top of the filled drainages in the
storm water channels before flowing into the natural drainage. The flow will only differ in elevation
not in location. Before being dischazged into the natural drainage basin the flow speed will be reduced
through the use of energy dissipaters.
7. Four Comers Materials will take extreme Gaze in preventing weeds from establishing
infestations in the pemut azea by doing the following:
1) Each mid-April, a noxious weed survey will be made of the permit azea.
2) If any noxious weed patches or plants have been identified, they will be sprayed by backpack
sprayer or 4-wheeler using chemicals approved for use by the Weed Management Commission of La
Plata County. This will be done within 2 weeks after the inspection when the weeds are most
vulnerable. Caze will be taken to spot spray where possible to avoid killing desirable broadleaf plants.
3) After reclamation ofportions of the site and after fmal reclamation, weed surveys and spraying will
continue until the perennial cover and production of the site have met DMG requirements and bond
release has been obtained.
Cugnini 12/03 17
