The revision was submitted <br />by Mountain Coal Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations <br />initiate from this date of filing. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 9 miles east of Paonia, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br />Portions or all of Sections 9, 10, 15, 17, I8, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 34, 35, and 36, <br />Township 13 South, Range 90 West of the 6th P.M.; and portions or all of Sections 23. 24, 25, and 26, Township <br />13 South, Range 91 West of the 6th P.M. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Somerset and Bowie. <br />A copy of [he technical revision application is available for public inspection a[ [he Gunnison County <br />Courthouse, 200 E. Virginia, Gunnison, CO 81230, and at the Division office. For additional information or to <br />provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, <br />Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
