© Mt Jamer R Stark
Enuronmenla! PmJertion SperioGrJ
OrtaGer 10, 2002
Page ?
The required notification letters were sent out on September 16~ and 17°h (certified mail receipts
attached for reference). Additional notification letters (heirs of one of the landowners) were sent
out on October 8'". Return receipts have been received for the majority of the notifications. Of
the 31 notification letters sent out, 22 return receipts have been received. Five of the notification
letters were returned as un-deliverable. For the returned letters, EFCI contacted the Fremont
County Assessor's Office to check for any changes in address and checked other sources to try to
find updated addresses. Updates were obtained for 2 of the pazties and notification letters were re-
sent. Of the 9 notification letters for which return receipts have not been received, 3 aze
undeliverable because no current address could be obtained with reasonable effort, and the
remaining 6 aze pending (status unknown). The required public notice was filed with the Canon
City Daily Record on September 15~", beginning the four week publication period.
We appreciate your cooperation and timely review and approval of this bond reduction and partial
bond release request. After you have opportunity to review the accompanying request and
supporting doctunentation, please feel free to contact me or George Patterson with any questions.
We would like to work with you to schedule the required bond release inspection as soon as
possible, in order to take advantage of favorable site weather conditions.
Sincerely,
MWH fox
Energy Fu
Manager
JMNsIw
cc: G.
