Notice of Proposed Decision <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision to Approve Bond <br />Release Application No. 3 (SL-3) for the Trapper Mine, Permit No. C-1981-010. The mine is operated <br />by Trapper Mining Inc. under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of <br />1979. The bond release application was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc. on October 1, 2001. This <br />application requests Phase II liability release on 592.7 acres of cropland reclaimed between 1982 and <br />1994. The areas requested aze reclaimed croplands of alfalfa/grass hay that were regraded, topsoiled, and <br />reseeded at the Ashmore, Browning, and Colt Pits. The affected azea is located in Moffat County, <br />approximately 6 miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed decision aze available for review at the Colorado Division of Minerals and <br />Geology office, 1313 Shernnan Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the office of the <br />Moffat County Clerk and Recorder. <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision. Requests for a hearing must be made in writing within thirty <br />(30) days of the fast publication of this notice, and shall state with reasonable specificity the reasons for <br />the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />
