The revision was <br />submitted by Western Fuels-Colorado. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the <br />Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This revision seeks to change the approved standards for reclamation revegetation. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 3 miles northwest of Nucla. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Section 6, Township 46 North, Range I S West, New Mexico Prime Meridian <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Nucla. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Montrose County Courthouse, <br />Box 1289, Montrose, CO 81402, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written <br />comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
