Dept. of Natural Resources <br />SUBJECT: Technical Revision TR-29, File No. C-81-010, Livestock Pond <br />Locations on Reclaimed Lands <br />This letter pertains to our meeting and discussion on 9/4/86 concerning the <br />construction of livestock ponds on reclaimed areas. Eleven ponds may be con- <br />structed in 1986 (see attached map for locations), however the actual number <br />may be less depending on weather conditions. Ponds that are not constructed <br />in 1986 may be built in 1987. Construction of ponds will be in accordance <br />with the State of Colorado, Office of State Engineer and the USDA Soil <br />Conservation Service Standards and specifications for ponds. Completed ponds <br />will be checked by Soil Conservation Service employees to ensure adequate con- <br />struction. Appropriate application forms for livestock ponds will be filed <br />with the State of Colorado, Office of State Engineer, upon completion. <br />We are anxious to get <br />week of September 22, <br />comments. <br />final approval as construction is scheduled [o begin the <br />1986.
