The change in plan is to ftalitatz the least minimal impact by use of the
preciousk trained areas of grid sections ;,i,7,9, and I l for pit site, stockpiles. (area 3&5) and proposzd
mining. (starting pith the south half of 7 proceeding through 9 to l l). Adjoining vertical face ol'R. 10.
and 1 l nould bz re-established to 3:1 slope. Mining of a full face southoard through 7,8, and 9. This
will enhance rzclaintation since movement of overburden and top soil will onh pace to be pzrfonned in
one step. the preciously mined area is absent of such material. Anv stripping required in an wtdistutbed
aria colt be redeposited back to a mined out area not requiring stockpiles of top soil and overburden.
Areas within 3 and ?would be graded for plant site and stock pile eithin the dtsturbed area bw eeuld not
be mined. Cnahmg would be preformed. then the processing of bituminous asphalt from said stucE: piles.
All pra;essing +s to be done in the previousl} mined area, not necesitating stripping of overburden or top
soil. Upon completion ofjob. mining would resume as stated in original mining plan. This will gcn~ntz
thz least impact considering the time frame and scope of the project at hand, and still better coincide wilt[
the original mining plan be npperating within the disturbed area.
Addtional bonding shouldn't be of concern since all equipment within the pit boundaries are porlab~r
+cidtom any perntanznt stntctures. Asphaltic waste still be of off sitz disposal in general ,with all remains
to be consumed by original mining plan.
Please torte a combinzd map from original mine plan depicting an overlay o(3A and 6.4 from enginal
mining plan. This details pit boundan, preciously mined areas and reference grid for darilication.
