,:
Minor Revision No. 144
November 21, 1994
Page 2
3. The plan view of MB-3 should identify the location and
elevation of the principal spillway. The drawing is not clear
as to the elevation of the spillway, as there are two 6 inch
pipes shown.
4. The size of the pond has not been changed according to the as-
built design (the bottom elevation and top of embankment
remain at the same elevation); however, the Division has noted
the following discrepancies between the original design, as-
built design, and the SEDCAD model:
*Sediment storage has decreased.
*Detention storage has increased. The detention storage
elevation conflicts between the typical pond section and the
plan view on drawing 36-102.
*The emergency spillway has been increased by one foot.
*Terms should be consistent. For example, the typical pond
section identifies a high water elevation and the plan view
drawing, at the same elevation, identifies a watershed
elevation).
*The 10-year 24-hour storage elevation does not correspond to
any other drawing.
*The capacity of the pond has increased.
*The as-built drawing does not correspond to the SEDCAD model
in Exhibit 66.
Please explain and update the as-built drawing and SEDCAD as
necessary.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sin~er,¢ly,
r
Christine E.
