The City of Lamar requested our office to assist in
requiring the release of reclamation responsibility of the above referenced gravel pit.
Our director, Monty Torres and myself, both viewed the site of the proposed release area
and found it to be absent of resent activity and covered in acceptable vegetation. Our
office is satisfied with the condition of the area being requesting for release of
reclanration responsibility. The City of Lamar has also removed a pile of asphalt off of
the permit area as well.
Should you have any questions or our office can be of further assistance please contact
Mono, or myself at (719) 336-8988.
Sincerely,
Chris Henderson
Environmental Ag Specialist
