<br />SUGGESTED PUBLIC NOTICE FORMAT <br />For Limited Impact operations, this notice must be published twice, one week apart, <br />the final date of publication being no later than 48 hours prior to the date for <br />Board consideration of the application. For all other operations, this notice must <br />be published once a week for four consecutive weeKS, the final date of publication <br />being at least twenty days prior to the date for Board consideration. All notices <br />must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the pro- <br />posed mining operation. (Full details in RULES 2.2 and 3.2.) For all other operations, the date is cal- <br />culated by adding 20 days to the date of the fourth publication. <br />Please refer to RULES 2.2 and 2.3 for Regular Applications and RULES 3.2 <br />and 3.3 for Limited Impact applications. <br />In addition to the public notice, the applicant must mail a copy of the <br />notice after first publication to all owners of the surface rights of the <br />affected land and to the owners of record of immediately adjacent lands. <br />Proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified Mail Return Receipt <br />Requested (where possible), must be provided the MLR staff and become a <br />part of the complete and adequate application before consideration before <br />the Mined Land Reclamation Board. <br />(Rev. 6/83) <br />Doc.
