Technical Revision No. 23 (Incidental Permit Boundary Change)
Dear Mr. Kline:
Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the
Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on October 10,
1995, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining
operations by Twentymile Coal Company, 29515 Routt County Road No. 27,
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing.
All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations
promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.

The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the
Foidel Creek Mine. The technical revision addresses an incidental permit
boundary change to allow for mining of the 10 Riqht Gateroad extensions, and
installation of ventilation and dewatering facilities. Mining will be
conducted by using underground methods. Three entries and associated cross-
cuts will be driven in the extension area, resulting in less than 20
additional acres to mining.
The Foidel Creek Mine is located approximately 23 miles southwest of
Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The general area affected by this revision is
described as follows:
Township 5 North, Range 86 West of the 6th P.M
Section 13: W/2 SW/4, SW/4 NW/4, E/2 NW/4, W/2 NE/4
Section 14: SE/4, S/2 SW/4, NE/4 SW/4
Section 15: SE/4 SE/4
Section 21: S/2 NW/4, SW/4 NE/4, S/2 SE/4, SE/4 NW/4
Section 22: SW/4 NE/4, N/2 NW/4, N/2 NE/4
Section 23: N/2 NW/4
the above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle
maps of Rattlesnake Butte and Cum Creek.

inspection at the Routt County Courthouse in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
