BANTA, Director <br />April 18, 1989 <br />Field Supervisor <br />U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service <br />Ecological Services <br />551 - 25 1/2 Road, Suite B 113 <br />Grand Junction, Colorado 81501 <br />Pursuant to Title 33, Article 34, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />April 17, 1989, an application for renewal of a valid, existing permit to <br />conduct coal mining operations, Permit No. C-84-062, by Colorado Yampa Coal <br />Company, 29588 Routt County Rd 27, Oak Creek, CO 80467, was deemed complete <br />for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in <br />the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of <br />filing. <br />The applicant proposes to continue conducting surface coal mining operations <br />at Mine No. 3 approximately 20 miles southwet of Steamboat Springs, in Routt <br />County. <br />A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Routt <br />County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO. Written <br />comments, objections or requests for an informal conference on the application <br />may be submitted to, and additional information obtained from, the Mined Land <br />Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, <br />(303) 866-3567.
