Box 187, Craig, CO 81626, was <br />deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods <br />as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from <br />this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Trapper <br />Mine. The technical revision addresses the construction of two new sediment <br />ponds and modification of the design of several sediment pond spillways. <br />Trapper Mine is located approximately 6 1/2 miles south of Craig, Colorado. <br />The affected area to which this revision applies is in portions of <br />Sections 26, 27, and 28, Township 6 North, Range 91 West. These tracts of <br />land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Castor Gulch. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspec- <br />tion at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 West Victory Way, Criag, Colorado. <br />Written comments may be submitted to and additional information may be <br />obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Sincerely, <br />Kent A.
