We are preparing a letter in accordance with 30 CFR
Part 732 which will require Colorado to amend its program ,
to specifically define and allow this procedure.
We note here that any resulting program amendment proposed
by Colorado is subject to public comment and to legal
review by our Office of the Solicitor.
DMG currently holds a reclamation bond for the Roadside
Mine in the amount of $3,264,149.00 and proposes to release
$1,466,510.00 of this amount. OSM concurs with this
action.
Thank you and your staff for coordinating this Federal
lands bond release through the DFD.
