The average annual precipitation is 18 to 20 inches and the frost free period is <br />30 to 40 days. <br />The Brinkert soil is deep and well drained. Typically the surface layer is grayish brown <br />loam 5 inches !hick. The subsoil is clay loam 15 inches thick. The substratum is sandy <br />clay l0 60 inches or more. Permeability is moderately slow. Available water <br />capacity is high. <br />Runoff is medium. <br />Hazard of soil blowing is slight. <br />Hazard of water erosion is moderate. <br />This soil is in capability subclass Vle. <br />The Morset sail is deep and well drained. Typically the surface layer is grayish brown <br />loam 4 inches thick. The subsoil is clay loam 14 inches thick. The substratum is loam <br />to 60 inches or more. Permeability is moderate.
