The purpose of our review is to <br />evaluate whether the County is satisfied with the financial assurance established <br />with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG). More specifically, if the <br />DMG financial assurance provides adequate funds for third-party closure of the <br />portions of the site that are subject to the Regulations Pertaining to Solid Waste <br />Disposal Sites and Facilities (the Regulations)(6 CCR 1007-2) and the facility's <br />Certificate of Designation. <br />I have discussed our concerns with you, as well as Dan Hernandez and Byron <br />Walker of the DMG. You have provided me with several documents that have been <br />helpful. In addition, today, Byron Walker indicated that he would forward some <br />additional documents concerning the financial assurance at the Coors disposal. <br />0 ~ <br />~,~ <br />Since we have been unable to receive answers to our questions and concerns, I <br />thought it might be useful to summarize our concerns so that you are aware of the <br />type of information we are looking fora Our concerns are as follows: <br />
