The materials <br />will not be rehandled until they are to be used in <br />reclamation work. <br />e. Overburden will be properly graded and roughened to <br />ensure stability of the reconstructed slopes. <br />' f. The medium to be used for topsoil will be a mixture <br />of overburden, organic matter and available topsoil. <br />g. The growing media will be spread evenly throughout <br />the terrace areas. Fertilizer will be applied as <br />' necessary. See Section 6.5 for discussion of the <br />type of revegetation anticipated. <br />h. Vegetative piles will be removed from the area. <br />6.5 Revegetation <br />a. Revegetation is a part of the reclamation plan. After <br />' grading and leveling, planting and seeding will be <br />initiated as soon as practicable. Tree and shrub <br />species to be used have been previously described. <br />The trees and shrubs will be planted as several-year- <br />old plants, seedlings or seeds and will be installed <br />during the early spring and fall months.
