The revision was to incorporate the designs and plans to construct a
pads and drill a methane drainage wells in Box Canyon on lands managed by the United States Forest
Service (CISFS).
The request for extension of time to approve is necessary and prudent for the USFS to grant right-of-
entry to MCC. According to the USFS Paonia District Office, they have re-scoped the project by re-
publishingthe public notice in the Delta County Independent and then if there are no substantive
comments during scoping and the appeals process, they can issue a Decision in 105 days. They
published on or about October 5, 2005, and we expect the approval soon.
MCC is requesting aone-month extension.
Please notify me if you have questions regarding this extension request.
Sinc L l , n^
:euv
enry A.>be
Environmental Engineer
cc: P Schmidt
M Peacock
D.
