Long <br /> Division Director <br />Re: Proposed Decision <br />Permit Renewal Application No. 4 (RN-4) <br />Hayden Gulch Mine (Permit No. C-1980-003) <br />Dear Routt County Commissioners: <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology is proposing to Approve a renewal <br />application for a coal mining and reclamation pemvt. The application was submitted by Hayden Gulch Coal <br />Company on July 12, 2001, for the Hayden Gulch Mine. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by the <br />Division in the Steamboat Pilot. <br />The surface mine is located approximately 9 miles south of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 31, Township 5 North, Range 88 West of the 6th P,M. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address and at <br />the Routt County Clerk and Recorder's Office.
