Mr. Larry Rouuen, CMLRD
May 31, 1991 -page 3
into our permit document, as is the case with the Redente study, we may be able to avoid timely revi-
sion proposals in the future and enhance reclamation success.
Section 7.4 -A.O.C. Determination
This section was tentatively approved by the Division and is subject to more detailed analysis at the time of
Phase i bond release. Enclosed are certified copies of the four maps (1) Postmine Topography, 2) Drainage
Profiles (M l4), and 3) Postmining Profiles (2 maps)) requested by the Division.
Section 7.5 - Grazing of Reclaimed Land
This section was acceptable to the Division. Trapper intends to allow grazing by domestic livestock (cattle
only) in the fall of 1991. Trapper will continue to update the Division on the progress of our grazing plan as
it relates to our annual report proposal and will seek additional Division input. Results of our grazing prac-
tices (vegetation report) will be submitted to the Division on a yearly basis in our annual report.
Section 7.6 -Noxious Weed Control
Enclosed in an updated permit page 3-77 (Noxious Weed Control) eliminating ortho and Amitrol-T as
approved herbicides. Ortho is not an herbicide, rather a surfactant which increases the emulsifying, dis-
persing, spreading and wetting properties of an herbicide. Concerning Amitrol-T, the manufacturer (Dow
and United Agri Services) no longer makes this product.
Larry, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me.
Sincerely, /~-~
William Agnewl/l
Sr. Environmental Engineer
WA/jb
[CMLRDpvfAY31]
Enclosure
J.M.
