Northwest Colorado Consultants, Inc.
(NCCI), served as engineering consultant to Seneca Coal Company for the
construction of the embankment. Mr. Brian Lens, P.E., of NCCI visited the site an
served to oversee NCCI's preconstruction investigation, compaction and
inspection control, and post-construction verifying stability analysis.
The reports of NCCI's efforts have been submitted as appendices to the
Technical Revision Application TR-04. Boring logs of the preconstruction
investigation; daily inspection sheets, compaction test results and proctor
standards; the post-construction stability analysis printout; laboratory
material strength test reports and data summaries, and a thorough summary
report have all been included within the submittal.
