The <br />revision was submitted by Grand Valley Coal Company. All review and comment periods as provided in [he <br />Ac[ and [he Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The revision is in response to the Division's midterm review, and addresses backfilling and grading plans, <br />stability analyses, and cost estimates associated with reclamation of existing road and portal bench disturbances. <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 18 miles north of Loma, Colorado, <br />and the loadout is located approximately I/2 mile east of Loma. The permit area is further described as <br />follows: <br />MINE: <br />Township 7 South, Ranee 102 West. 6th P.M. <br />Portions of Sections 21, 27, 28, 29, 33, and 34 <br />Townshio 8 South. Ranee 102 West. 6th P.M <br />Portions of Sections 2, 3, and 4 <br />LOADOUT: <br />Township ]North. Ranee 3 West. Ute P.M. <br />Portions of NE/4 NW/4 Section 3 <br />Townshio 2 North. Ranee 3 West. Ute P.M. <br />Portions of SW/4 SW/4 Section 34 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Howard Canyon, <br />Garvey Canyon, and Mack. <br />
