Long
Div rsion DI!(410r
The Division has generated a final bond liability estimate for the
permit renewal at the Eastside Mine. I have enclosed a memo and
calculations from Erica Crosby which detail the bond increase.
The pre-renewal bond liability for the Eastside Mine was $48,828,
and the revised current bond liability is $68,268. The Division
currently holds a $50,000 bond for the Eastside Mine. Therefore,
Eastside should submit an additional $18,268 bond to match the
current liability. The bond should be posted before the permit
expires on January 13, 1995.
Additionally, the text in the permit application package should be
updated to reflect the change in the bond liability.
If you have any questions, please call me or Erica Crosby.
Sincerely,
Barbara L.
