I. .have
attached a location map showing the current location .of the'fuel
storage area as 'requested.
At. the time bf the ,Technical Revision submittal they had. 500
gallons of unleaded gas, 500 gallons of clear diesel 8nd 6,000
',gallons of red diesel. In addition, they.had 20 barrels for''
storing lubricants, antifreeze and collection ,of waste oil. Frei
,propos,ed building. an'iiirt berm enclosure that could contain these
items: .AS you pointed out in yowr adequacy letter some'met}iod of
sealing the enclosure was necessary and Frei's.found that. the
material they proposed.izsing could not be adequately.eompacted to.
areal it. After much discussion it was. decided to reduce'the'
amount of fuels stored on site and reduce the amount of waste. oil
that accumulates until 'it ie,removed'..
At .this time .there ie 6,0'00 gal'of red'diesel on the site
and 10-13 barrels, in 2 - 750 .gallon waterincj tanks. One tank'.
with 6 barrels is on the service area and on tank with 7 barrels
is3.near the refuelinq,.station. A steel enclosure for the 'fuel
will. be built and the '6000,ga1 dank will be set in it. The
current tank is a self contained unit with, the pump,.fill inlet,
aYsd fueling hose attached. 'Once, in the enclosure only the
fuelingq".hose will be outside'the'enclosure and then only during
This enclosure will be 20' by 10~.liy 5' and made of ~ inch
steer plating. The plating will be welded onto an exterior.frasne
constructed of 3" by 3" angle iron and a double sealed drain will'
be installed to allow removal of spilled fuel or'accumulated
