The previously approved design called for a single
30 inch diameter culvert to be installed for each of the three sites. CYCC instead wishes to use
a pair of 26 inch diameter smooth steel pipe culverts. As can be seen from the enclosed SedCad
sizing, a 21 inch diameter culvert is required to handle 50 percent of the peak flow from the
contributing azea of C-1 (which is possessed of the highest peak flow value). As such, a pair
of 26 inch culverts should be more than adequate for the peak flow values for each of the three
sites. Enclosed page 780-118(c) has been revised to reflect the proposed change.
Should you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience.
Sincerely,
Mazcus A.
