<br />EXHIBIT S <br /> <br />PERMANENT MAN-MADE STRUCTURES <br />No man-made structures are located with-in 200 of the proposed mining area, but <br />some do exist with-in 200' of the affected area. A bulk storage propane tank <br />owned by the Monte Vista Coop is located off the northeast corner of the <br />boundary. It is located across the paved county road. A Public Service Company <br />substation is located east of the southeast corner of the boundary. It is also <br />located east of a paved county road. Initial mining occurred along the east side of <br />this pit as early as 1973, and the pit walls have been undisturbed since that time. <br />There is no evidence of loss of integrity to these structures from this operation. <br />An irrigation we11 is located along the northern boundary of the permit. It has been <br />in existence and operational throughout mining of the ground. The well has never <br />been affected in any adverse way, and continues in full production during the <br />farming season. , <br />No other man made structures exist within 200' of the affected area. <br />
