~~ . .

EXHIBIT L
RECLAMATION COSTS
These reclamation costs assume that all stockpiles are removed from the pit
floor. The side slopes are set at no steeper that 3H:1 V during the mining
operation. Once the toe of the pit wall has reached its point the slope is shaped
accordingly. Please see the areas marked on the reclamation cost map (Map L.1)
for a better understanding of the finished area. Topsoil will only be required in
areas shown. The balance of the side slopes will have had topsoil applied (area
checkered on Map L.1).
Listed below is a table of our projected reclamation costs:
IIF~-1J0 DF~CRIeTLO.N
1 Backfill 8 Rough Grading
2 Rip pit floor for compaction
3 Finish grade side slopes
4 Spread topsoil 3" thick on
slopes and pit floor
(AVG HAUL < 700 LF)
5 Seeding
QUANLILY
500
16.3
2.1
18.4
7500
UNII
CY
ACRE
ACRE
ACRE
CY
UNIT
RATE AMOUNT
$5 $250
$150 $2,445
$100 $210
18.4 ACRE
ADD PROFIT & OVERHEAD 10.0°h
TOTAL RECLAMATION COST

$1.50 $11,250
$500 $9,200
$23,355
$2,336
$25,691
