The <br />revision was submitted by Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and <br />the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />The revision addresses [he reduction of groundwater monitoring. The current quarterly monitoring schedule <br />would be replaced by asemi-annual schedule. Also, one well, which is used to monitor the Twentymile <br />Sandstone aquifer, would be discontinued. Another well would be used for this purpose. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately six miles southwest of Craig, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br />Township 5 North, Range 90 Wes[ <br />Potions of Sections 5 and 6 <br />Township 5 North. Range 91 West <br />Portions of Sections 1, 4, and 5 <br />Sections 2 and 3, ALL <br />Township 6 North, Range 90 Wes[ <br />Portions of Sections 30 and 32 <br />Section 31, ALL <br />Township 6 North. Range 91 West <br />Portions of Sections 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, and 32 <br />Sections 33, 34, 35, and 36, ALL <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Castor Gulch. <br />
