3. The Installation Superintendent shall have installed or supervised, at a minimum three <br />installation projects that entailed the installation of at least a total of 1,000,000 squaze <br />feet of the type of geomembrane that is being installed at the Cresson Project. <br />• 4. Actual seaming shall be performed under the direction of a Master Seamer (who may <br />also be the Installation Superintendent) who has seamed a minimum of 1,000,000 <br />squaze feet of the type of geomembrane that is being installed at the Cresson Project, <br />using the same type of seaming apparatus specified for the Work. <br />5. The Installation Superintendent and/or Master Seamer shall be present whenever <br />seaming is performed. <br />C. Quality Assurance Program <br />1. All WORK shall be constructed, monitored, and tested in compliance with the <br />requirements of the Construction Quality Assurance Plan (Section 01400.2). <br />CONTRACTOR and MANUFACTURER shall participate in and comply with all <br />items in these SPECIFICATIONS and requirements of the CQA plan. <br />2. CONTRACTOR shall enswe that each geomembrane MANUFACTURER that <br />supplies materials to this project has an internal product quality control program that <br />meets SPECIFICATIONS. <br />3. During manufacturing of the geomembrane, samples of geomembrane shall be removed <br />for laboratory testing to enswe compliance with this SPECIFICATION. Conformance <br />sampling and testing will be performed in accordance with the Constmction Quality <br />Asswance Plan. <br />4. CONTRACTOR shall asswe that the geomembrane is delivered to the site at least 10 <br />• calendar days prior to installation. CONTRACTOR will provide required Quality <br />Control information 10 calendaz days prior to geosynthetics being delivered to the <br />Cresson project and on delivery of geosynthetics to the Cresson project. <br />5. Geomembrane rolls that do not meet the requirements of this SPECIFICATION will be <br />rejected. CONTRACTOR shall replace the rejected material with new material that <br />conforms [o the SPECIFICATION requirements, at no additional cost to CC&V. <br />6. CONTRACTOR shall enswe that all personnel performing geomembrane seaming <br />operations aze qualified by experience or by successfully passing seaming tests (see <br />Article 3.08(D) of this section). MANAGER reserves the right to reject any welding <br />technician whose performance is unsatisfactory. <br />7. INSTALLER'S Superintendent and QC Inspector shall attend the pre-construction <br />meeting. <br />D. Field Samples <br />Geomembrane sampling and testing shall be conducted in accordance with the project <br />SPECIFICATIONS for the following: <br />a. trial seam testing (Article 3.07 of this Section) <br />b. deshvctive seam testing (Article 3.09 of this Section) <br />2.
