Box 2007
Colorado Springs, Colorado 80901
Re: Wash Plant
AL-91-017
Dear Rick:
This letter is sent pursuant to your letter dated it-25-91 requesting
additional information regarding the introduction of a wash plant
at our Vollmer Pit. Our answers are as follows:
1. Schmidt Construction Company has a commercial well H26997-F.
O 2. Initially we shall "energize" one pond to a capacity of six
acre feet of water. This shall be reused as we iterate the
washing process. Our well shall provide any replenishment.
3. The ponds shall leave a clay bottom and either clay or fabric
lining on the sides to inhibit water loss.
4. See the attached sketch for entry and exit of water.
5. The wash plant shall be used to wash aggregates mined on site.
6. Enclosed is a copy of the legal description of the property.
If you should have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
~~
/reg inn
td
Enclosures
\J
2635 Delta Drive • Colorado Springs.
