BANTA, Dlreetor <br />IIOTICE OF PROPOSE[` DECISIOf'J <br />The Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division has issued a proposed deC'ISIOn to <br />approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />Eastside Mine, Permit No. C-A4-063, operated by Eastside Coal Co Inc, under <br />the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. <br />The proposed technical revision (TR - 031 was submitted by Eastside foal Co <br />Inc, on February 18, 1988 for the Eastside Mine. The affected area is located <br />in portions of Section 24, T5S, R9241 6th P.hi. in Barfield County. <br />The subject technical revision is to eliminate underground monitoring at the <br />minesite due to low flow. <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are availahle for review at the <br />Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Division office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />423, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may <br />be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision.
