Lochhearl <br />Enecwive Dveaor <br />Michael B LonK <br />Dimsion Dneaar <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, <br />Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on October 13, 1998, an application to revise coal mining <br />operations at the Trapper Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by <br />Trapper Mining Inc. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this <br />date of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to construct a sediment control pond on approxitnatety 0.75 acre of land within the <br />applicant's existing mine permit area in the W 1/2, Sec. 6, TSN, R90W. The location is approximately 5 miles <br />south of Craig, Colorado and is shown on [he Castor Gulch USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle map. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Moffat County Courthouse, 221 <br />W Victory Way, Craig, CO 81625, and at [he Division office. For additional information or to provide written <br />comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that <br />comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
