1If this action pertains to a federal mine (coal or surface ownership) the
permittee must send copies of the approved permit revision to the agencies listed
on the Federal Agency Mailing List. If the revision affects federal coal, federal
mine plan approval must be obtained unless the requirement is waived by OSM.
Operations affecting federal coal may not proceed until the federal mine plan
approval, if required by OSM, has been issued. For non-Federal mines, one copy of
the revision must be sent certified mail to OSM at Suite 1200, 505 Marquette
Avenue NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87102. The project may not proceed until all
copies have been sent.
