Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) has finished its adequacy review of <br />Bowie Resources LLC (BRL) responses, dated June 9, 2005, for Technical Revision No. 37 (TR- <br />37) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine. The following is the status of these issues: <br />The Division requested revised hydrology designs for the emergency spillway for Pond F. <br />The Division has no further concerns. In the submittal dated June 9, 2005, BRL provided <br />revised Figures 3 and 4 and revisecf hydrology design pages App-B-S and App-B-6 for the <br />emergency spillway. <br />As mentioned in item number 5 below, BRL also submitted hydrology design information <br />for the channel structures that will take pond F emergency discharge flow over the Fire <br />Mountain Canal. The Division has determined that its jurisdiction ends with the <br />emergency spillway at the base of the pond F embankment and does not include the <br />remaining channel structures. <br />2. Please provide a revised page 2.05'-30 that contains a brief description of the primary <br />and emergency discharge systems for Pond F. <br />The Division has no further concerns. In the submittal dated June 9, 2005, BRL provided <br />a revised page 2.05-30. <br />Please show a depiction of the buried primary discharge pipe for Pond F on Figure 3, <br />Pond F Detail. <br />The Division has no further concerns.
