The objectors and their attorney appear to be
incoherent in knowing the difference between "oonversion" and
"expansion."
The only "expansion" in a 110 permit to a 112 permit "conver-
sion" is a hugely expanded permit fee we must pay to the gov-
ernment for protection for our neighbors, a hugely expanded
amount of paper work and fees we must pay and do on an ongo-
ing basis, a hugely expanded bond that we must hold to make
sure we keep our nose clean, and a heavier expansion of tho
burden of being a private employer of ten families that de-
pend on us to make a living in an expandingly bureaucratic
world.
We wish a conversion from a 110 to a 112 permit would auto-
matically guarantee us a 300$ expansion in. our tonnage Gold,
as certain neighbors are eo sure will happen. The reality oP
the conversion from 110 to a 112 ie the operdtipn W111 rlln
jllSt as it did before. If the loca] economy should grow 3 to
5 percent per year, we would hope our sales do as well.
The objectors do ,not know if the Division of Minerals and Ge-
ology can adequately enforce a grave] pit way out in the
western part of the State?
we do nut feel that we are the Party to answer this question.
If there were a violation that would have devastating conee-
9uencea for the neighbors? (this Statement i. so ridiculous,
I will answer it likewise) Thia we really believe could hap-
pen. Ever since our violation we were convicted of and paid
the fine tor, certain neighbors have been seriously infected
with mass hyeLeria, hallucinations, inability to tell fact
from fantasy, and lost all ability to reason.
Traffic Safety?
We feel we run the beat maintained fleet in the area. we are
required t-o log daily truck safety inspections. Our safety
