Please know, however, that final profiles wiT1
be required at the time of any bond release request. The proposal at Section 4.3 (Discussion and Recommendations) is
reasonable. As discussed with you previously, we will allow the
reporting requirement to lapse. We will still require, however, that
Trapper Mine continue to sample spoil, with accurate records retained
on-site. Any suspect spoil quality parameter level must be reported to
the Division, and the monitoring records must be available for Division
review at all times.
A final determination regarding the spoil sampling reductions proposal
cannot be made until we receive the selenium data for the 1989 spoil
samples. Please submit the selenium data for these samples.
2. The Table 2.7-2a contains an error. The suitability range for Acid-Base
Potential should read > -5 tons, not (-5 tons. Please submit a
corrected page.
Section 5.0 - Topsoil Stockpile Locations (1989)
Rule 2.05.3(5) requires that all topsoil storage locations must be approved
prior to development. Please provide an updated topsoil map which accurately
depicts all storage locations, and any anticipated locations. Approximate
volumes should be provided for each pile. Please incorporate the revised map
at an appropriate location in the permit, and number the map accordingly.
Section 6.0 --Livestock Ponds (1989)
This section is acceptable. Please be sure to incorporate the permit boundary
on future map submittals.
Section 7.0 - Proposed Revegetation Seed Mixes (1990)
This section is acceptable without modification.
Section 8.0 - Wildlife Monitoring (1990)
The Division accepts your proposed monitoring reduction.
