Cattany <br />Division DlreCtml <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />Coors Energy Company submitted an application for a Technical Revision (TR-38) on Mazch 2, 2006. <br />This application was found complete on March 13, 2006. After review of the existing permit and the TR- <br />38 application, there are two adequacy concerns. <br />1. Coors Energy Company (CEC) has informed the Division of intent by a third party, Noble Energy <br />Production, Inc., to drill an additional gas well and construct an access road within the <br />Keenesburg Mine property. CEC has requested apost-mining land-use change from Rangeland to <br />Industrial for the affected area for this additional well. Reference to Permit page 124, discusses <br />only two gas wells and associated roads, while the figure on page 124a shows the two gas wells <br />included in TR-36. Please revise these two pages to include the additional gas well proposed in <br />TR-37, plus the associated road. The proposed gas well and road is projected to be constructed on <br />previously undisturbed land. Inclusion of the proposed well on the figure found on permit page <br />124a will comply with Rule 2.10.3(1)(e). <br />2. CEC provide documentation of Noble Energy Production's right of access to construct wells and <br />ancillary facilities. Please provide the Division direction of where in the permit CEC would like <br />this documentation filed. If they are to be placed in an Appendix, please provide instruction as to <br />Appendix name so all copies of the permit remain consistent. <br />Please provide responses to the Division by May 5, 2006 to allow the Division to review the responses <br />prior to the proposed decision date.
