Long <br />Dim sion Dtreao~ <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on <br />September 22, 1994, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct <br />coal mining operations by Terror Creek Company, 1840 Highway 133, Paonia, <br />Colorado 81428, was deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews <br />and comment periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated <br />thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise operations at the Terror Creek Loadout. The <br />technical revision provides for the installation of a dilute antifreeze tank <br />in the facilities area. The dilute antifreeze will be applied to stoker coal <br />for freeze protection as the coal is loaded into rail cars. <br />The Terror Creek Loadout is located immediately south of Bowie, Colorado, <br />within the following section: <br />Township 13 South, Ranqe 91 West, 6th P.M. <br />Section 15: E/2NE/4SW/4 south of State Highway 133 <br />and the NE/4SE/4 north of the railroad and south of <br />State Highway 133. <br />The above-described tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Bowie. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Delta County Courthouse, 5th and Palmer, Delta, Colorado. <br />Written comments may be submitted to and additional information may be <br />obtained from the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br />Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. <br />Si~ICRrely <br />Christine E.
